'Logos' Video Officially Published
In the summer of 2019, Kildare Youth Theatre members - mostly from the Senior Ensemble - traveled to Pelion in Eastern Greece for an Erasmus+ funded training course called Logos.
The project, which took place over the course of a week, brought young actors from Greece and Ireland together to learn advanced methods in drama facilitation and devising. Logos was aimed at giving the young adults the skills and tools necessary to devise theatre and run drama workshops back home.
One of those who traveled to Greece with us was our Videographer Alec Delaney and Sound Engineer Cormac Dowdall. Throughout the week the pair recorded and subsequently edited a 12-minute documentary on the Logos project.
This documentary has just been released! It can be viewed below, or alternatively on our YouTube page.
More can be read on Logos on our 2019 archive page.
Logos involved the participation of Kildare Youth Theatre, under Crooked House Theatre Company, and The Hellenic Theatre/Drama and Education Network of Greece. Kindly funded by Erasmus+ with support from Léargas.
