Kildare Youth Theatre Christmas Hours AND General Announcements

Hello all, please see a list below of the dates of when all workshops and rehearsals pause for the Christmas season, as well as when they all return.

WORKSHOPS:

Oberon will conclude on Monday, 21st December. It will return again on 11th January.

Echo Ensemble will conclude on Tuesday, 22nd December, and return on 12th January.

Touchstone will conclude on 17th December and return on 7th January.

Caliban 1 and 2 will conclude on 20th December and return on 10th January.

SHOWS/OTHER

Audition Support work will finish during the week of 21st December and resume the week of 11th January. However, if participants and acting coaches wish to meet during the previous week, either on Zoom or in person, and the coaches are available and willing to meet, then this may happen, especially if auditions are in January.

The Merchant of Venice rehearsals finish on Wednesday, 23rd, with a voice workshop in the studio (as per the Rehearsal Schedule). This is for whoever in the cast feels comfortable attending. Rehearsals resume again on Sunday, 10th January. Individual, and very small group or pair work may be orgainsed during the holidays if cast members wish, and providing directors and coaches are available. This can be arranged separately. NT Connections play rehearsals with Shane will conclude on Sunday, 20th December. Shane will be in touch to let everyone in the cast know when it resumes, but it will likely be on 10th January.

Drama Facilitation Training will conclude on Friday, 18th December and resume on Friday, 14th January.

English language and yoga classes will conclude the week of 21st December (unless otherwise arranged) and resume the week of 11th January.

Crooked House will not be open as usual from 24th December until 7th January. However, if anyone needs to meet one of the team please message us on WhatsApp (Peter - 087 2759420) or email us here to see if anyone is available. It may also be possible to meet on Zoom.

It won't be possible to just turn up to the centre without prior arrangement or appointment.

Here's hoping that 2021 brings us all new adventures in drama, and a return to what we do best. We are looking forward to the future and as ever, we can't wait to welcome you back in January, whether it be online or in person. Nollaig Shona Duit.

All the best,
