ANNOUCEMENT: Returning to Workshops

In light of the loosening of COVID-19 government restrictions, starting December 1st, Kildare Youth Theatre will recommence in person workshops. According to the latest guidance from the Department of Children and Youth Affairs, under Level 3 youth services can operate with structured groups of up to 15 people, including the facilitators, in one room provided the safety regulations are in place.


 

IMPORTANT NOTICE:


Before returning to the Liffey Studio, all members must fill out our COVID questionnaire. To do so, follow the link here: https://forms.gle/XSd1trD14CBSCkcbA.


You must do this at least 12 hours within your first in-person workshop (and not any earlier).


 

WORKSHOP DATES:



Touchstone: (Thursdays, 7pm - 9pm). Back on 3rd December.


Caliban 1 (Saturdays, 2.30pm – 4.30pm). Back on 5th December.


Caliban 2 (Saturdays, 5.00pm – 7.00pm). Back on 5th December.


Oberon (Mondays 7pm - 9pm) Back on December 7th (not November 30th)


Echo Ensemble (Tuesdays, 7.00pm – 9.00pm). Back on 1st December.


Senior Ensemble (Friday, 7.00pm – 9.30pm). Back on 4th December.


The Merchant of Venice (various times as per the Rehearsal Schedule). Back on Wednesday, 2nd December, 6.30pm – 8.30pm.


‘Find a Partner’ (Sundays, 5.00pm – 7.30pm). Back on 6th December.


Other:


The Audition Support programme will continue online via Zoom with the weekly one-to-one sessions with Georgina and Rob


Some of Peter’s and Oguzhan’s & Marco’s sessions will be in person (arrangements will be made with the individuals in question).


Workshops and rehearsals will continue until December 24th. After this - with the exception of some rehearsals (as per contact) - we will pause the programme until 11th January 2021.


 

SAFETY PROCEDURES:

  • Face coverings should be worn at all times.

  • Members cannot arrive in Crooked House premises earlier than 10 minutes before the workshop/ rehearsal or remain later than 10 minutes after.

  • Hand sanitizers have been placed in every room and need to be used by everyone upon arrival.

  • An attendance list is being kept for every workshop or rehearsal which also serves the purpose of contact tracing.

  • If you have any symptoms of COVID-19, are awaiting for a test or test result, or have been declared as a close contact, DO NOT attend your in-person session and contact the appropriate facilitator.


We are delighted to be back in the studio and are really looking forward to working in person with you all again.
