Extras needed for King Lear

Any young people, especially 5th years studying the play for their Leaving Cert in 2018, are invited to take part in small roles of attendants, guards, soldiers and messengers in Kildare Youth Theatre's production of King Lear.

The roles are non-speaking so there is no pressure of line-learning. And you will get to know the play really well in advance of the Leaving Cert.

Rehearsals for extras will be during the Christmas holidays, and thereafter only when your scene is being rehearsed (not more than 2 hours on Sunday or on Wednesday evening.
