Town Twinning Committee
Kildare Youth Theatre were invited to Bad Lippspringe in Germany from 7th - 10th October 2016 as guests of the Town Twinning Committee (Newbridge is twinned with Bad Lippspringe since 1997). The young people performed red-nose clown sketches on the streets, at the launch of OktoberFest, and during the traditional beer barrelling race on the town's Main Street. The 'Clown Team' came third and won a certificate and crates of beer, which they donated to their adult hosts!
Along with Peter Hussey the KYT team were Elliot Nolan, Graham Butler-Breen and Anna Ó Módhráin, seen here on the 'winners' podium' accepting their prize.
