Public Shakespeare workshop

Are you studying Shakespeare for your Junior Cert or Leaving Cert? This workshop might interest you.

We will explore how Shakespeare uses the imabic pentameter rhythm to reveal character and express feelings and mood. We will look at some text from 'The Merchant of Venice' and from 'Hamlet.' Booking essential.

The workshop will be led by Peter Hussey, who has directed young people in a number of Shakespearian productions and who is Artistic Director of Kildare Youth Theatre.

You may, if you'd like, bring a notebook and pen, and also a copy of your play text. There will be copies available on the day for anyone who has none.

Workshops take place in 1 Main Street, Newbridge.
